FREE PAPER SHRED EVENT:

WHAT: Residents of South St. Paul, West St. Paul,  Mendota Heights, Sunfish Lake, Lilydale and Mendota are welcome! Shred and Recycle Confidential Material. 

WHEN: 10/3  8AM-12PM

Shredding Process
Pioneer ShredSecure staff collects and secures material into a locking security container and transports it directly to the mobile shredding vehicle. The material is deposited directly into the shredding chamber without being touched by human hands. The shredded material is then sent to a recycler!


Please remove 3-ring binders, spiral binders, and binder clips.

WHAT TO SHRED

* Credit Card Offers, Receipts, Check Stubs, Old Bills, Banking & Loan Information
* Medical Records, Tax Records, Investment Records, Social Security Numbers, Internal Correspondence

PLEASE BRING PAPERS IN GROCERY BAGS RATHER THAN BOXES.

CURBSIDE APPLIANCE PICK UP:

WHAT: JR's Advanced Recyclers will come to your home and haul away your large appliances

WHEN: 10/5  8AM-12PM  RESERVATIONS REQUIRED

DETAILS: Call JR's to make a reservation for this event and pay them directly: 651-454-9215

FREE PUMPKIN COMPOSTING:

WHAT: Bring unpainted pumpkins for composting! No painted pumpkins, candles or wax accepted

WHEN: 11/7   10:30AM- NOON

WHERE: Wakota Federal Credit Union (1151 Southview Blvd, South St. Paul)

DETAILS: No painted pumpkins, candles or wax accepted. Look for the giant dumpster in the parking lot. Mayor's Task Force will be there on Saturday during 10AM-NOON to assist with the event.

Please do not bag recyclable items in plastic bags. Keep them loose in your cart or bin.

Special Note on Plastics

Some plastics are recyclable while some are not. Some recycling haulers are collecting more types of plastics than in the past, so contact your recycling hauler for a detailed list of which types they accept from your curbside recycling bin. Place recyclable plastics in with curbside recycling
